Beer starts in the soil…

Climate and growing conditions determine the quality and flavor of the final beer. Water, Barley, Hops & the Native Flora & Fauna of our farm reveal the history of every season’s harvest, a little piece of each making it into our final product.

A farmer’s work is never done….

After 120 years of our family working this land we have learned a few things about the dedication and commitment it takes to put your name on a product. Farmhouse brewing is a lifestyle, not just a beer style.

Made by Farmers

In 1895, sixteen-year-old W.M. Miller left his home in Scotland and would eventually carve a farm out of the remote Pemberton Valley wilderness - 120 years later we keep our great grandfather’s adventurous spirit alive.

WM Miller’s adventures took him from South Africa, Sri Lanka, & Hong Kong and on to travels in the Yukon and Alaskan gold rushes, finally settling in Pemberton. Eventually clearing the land that our family has been farming for 4 generations.

We give a nod to our family’s rich & adventurous farming history and craft these quality ingredients into a beer that deeply reflects the region it comes from.
